    The second (with and ) introduces a new way of differentiating those pesky visibility-induced discontinuities by performing a change of variables that freezes them in place. This lets one do cool stuff :).

    I've been fascinated by Theo Jansen's "Strandbeest" constructions () for a while now – so I finally took some time and turned one into an animation! ⚙️ Modeled and animated in Blender, rendered using my own path tracer.

    Tizian's tone mapping utility () is super useful for studying various operators, so I mucked about with the cmake file and dependencies to make it easy to build on Windows. - I think Filmic1 is still my favorite.
