I'm sad & I'm tired & I have no pithy dunks, only big messy feelings about this space & the fact that I've been on it since 2009. I met my husband here. I found deeply sustaining friendships here. I've also called it a cursed hell site & struggled with it & the grief it causes.

Over the past few months I found I was only posting about birds & leaves & good television, & figured I'd struck a decent balance between keeping informed about friends & industries & keeping more of myself to myself. Shocking to see it all so thoughtlessly, callously dismantled.

Anyway I have no predictions or recs for the future; I just know that going down my profile I found a bunch of RTs of people who don't have accounts anymore, & it made the thing I knew was happening more real.
