Today is August 4th & there are a ton of fantastic books out & I've only gotten to review a fraction of them but wanted to shout out a particular Happy Book Birthday to Micaiah Johnson's THE SPACE BETWEEN WORLDS which I devoured as if my life hung in the balance.

At a time when I was really struggling with the cognitive demands of reading anything for work or pleasure Micaiah Johnson's THE SPACE BETWEEN WORLDS flooded me with oxygen & lit me on fire & I can't say for certain that it enabled me to read again but in its wake, I could.

I want to say Micaiah Johnson's THE SPACE BETWEEN WORLDS is like Fury Road meets Orphan Black except I've only watched one episode of Orphan Black but anyway it's also super queer & the protagonist is bisexual & aughh I loved it so much.
