I think that might be approaching their complaints a bit too literally. The incoherent fury these men are being consumed with is about their perception that they are being denied power, agency, and prestige they believe is their birthright, for which celibacy is a synecdoche.

In the context patriarchy, misogyny is pretty well established channel for those frustrations to flow down. But I think the root of their horrifying worldview is more centrally about being denied the 'right' to have complete dominion over women.

Sex is the explicitly tangible expression of that, as these assholes have obviously tied sex intimately to the idea of ownership of another's body. But I don't think sex would stop them from being incensed by women being promoted over them, girlfriends not obeying them etc.

But I dunno, reading about incels generally leaves me very sad. What if instead of 'our culture shames me for not being as rich and beautiful as a Hemsworth, so fuck women' they went 'oh damn, a white supremacist, patriarchal, capitalistic society sucks butts. Lets change that.'

Yes, this. Incel anger isn't really about the physical lack of sex, it's fury over being denied the unfettered access to women's body they feel they deserve. I imagine having to pay for sex would just add insult to injury in their minds, they would see it as degrading.
