Thank you, @jonmchu, for making #CrazyRichAsians. I will be seeing it again in theaters and buying it when it comes out so that my nieces can grow up with a strong female lead that looks like them.

Wait, how was I racist? Please help me understand. I’m really trying to be more intentional about how I use my words

Multi-culture ethnicity seems to be the new norm today. Meghan Markle is a prime example. How to deal with two or more cultural identities can be a burden or it can be a blessing if we learn to celebrate the best of both worlds.

I’m just happy that society is able to see the hardships of being a part of two different cultures. It’s something a lot of people deal with, but I haven’t seen many movies like that. It can be a topic we all talk about to try and alleviate ambiguity :)

Thank you!
I’m so happy that people are able to catch of glimpse of what culture clashes Asian-Americans go through with identity. The movie interweaves so many important daily life things that seem so new to so many people but so mundane to those who experience these things.
