    BREAKING: rule all super shoes legal, with new requirement — athlete must wear a foam red nose while using said shoes during competition. Many regulations on the foam nose to follow, WA very actively testing models at the moment. 🤡

    I ran a tough 3k on Saturday. I was never mentally “in it.” I ran passively & gave up. Today I closed a workout with a 4:17 mile - faster than my 3k split. I was focused & determined to redeem myself. Takeaway: If you’re motivated & believe in yourself, anything is possible.

    A big question for runners is how to increase mileage. For various reasons, a so called “10% Rule” for increasing mileage has developed as a sort of law of training. Throw it out. It’s junk. The 10% Rule essentially assumes we are all the same, and we’re not. —

    Circadian rhythm could be influenced by earths magentic forces changing throughout 24hr cycle (as well as the sun). Grounding, & not wearing sunglasses, are some easy ways to improve hormonal rhythms. Better rhythm= better sleep/recovery & performance. 🌏
