    What are these guys fighting about? Go ahead and remember it as a no-hitter if you want. Are you worried it’s not going to be in the next edition of The Baseball Encyclopedia?

    If you play a Major League game and nobody gets a hit it’s a no-hitter. You can’t penalize the player/players for how many innings you decided to make the game. If it’s not a no-hitter than a 7 inning win shouldn’t be a win.

    I dunno, this seems like a slippery slope. You convict cops for murder, what's next? They stop killing people for no reason? They stop pulling out their guns during traffic stops they didn't even need to make? They stop strangling people? Do we really want to live in that world?

    When “fans hate it” can be completely divorced from a business perspective that depends on fan interest the model is broken.

    It’s interesting to watch The Super League reaction as a dispassionate observer. I get why fans hate it, but from a business perspective it makes total sense. Their current setup is like college FB, where Ohio St generates half the Big Ten’s TV value but only receives 1/14th.
