This year’s #Vatican Nativity scene, revealed tonight, comes from a town in the Abruzzi region of Italy famous for its ceramics. Its creators say it’s meant to have a contemporary and unconventional look influenced by ancient Greek, Sumerian and Egyptian art. Photo: @dibanezgutpic.twitter.com/ozEeaQWJ6r

It doesn't look terrifying at all. That is the problem when we're used to seeing white-caucasian images of the Virgin and the saints of Middle Eastern descent. We tend to shun from representation that doesn't look like "us".

It looks like a nightmare from Outer Space complete with aliens, demons, and a small package covered in red! It is not a depiction of the Holy Birth of Jesus which had nothing to do with race or skin color. It is sacreligious and another example of the evil of Pope Francis!
