Shoreham Farmers Market Street Surgery with Conservative councillors and me tomorrow as usual (not just at election time like some)pic.twitter.com/nBamo87anX

It isn't actually my job but together with Conservative councillors we have made it our job to hold street surgeries for the last 15 years
My point is, it's your job to meet with your constituents and listen to their concerns. Location not specified. But I'm sure you knew that
And my point is that we always go out of our way to do that whilst other parties just turn up at election time & expect to get elected
This could become a little circuitous don't you think? Of course they turn up at election time. That's called campaigning. You do it too...
You miss the point again. Being a local representative or an aspiring one means being there all year round when elections aren't happening
I don't believe I missed it. I got your point entirely. I just don't agree with you.
Fortunately in this constituency people like their representatives to be accessible & around which is why our Saturday street surgeries work
Exactly. So it's a way of carrying out your day job as I said earlier. Being a representative MP.
Our Conservative councillors & prospective Conservative councillors do it too-that's how they show commitment to a year round responsibility
