I started my normal 2 hour drive to DC at 1pm yesterday. 19 hours later, I’m still not near the Capitol. My office is in touch with to see how we can help other Virginians in this situation. Please stay safe everyone.

Two worst snow drives I’ve ever experienced were in Northern VA and I have lived in Michigan and Northern Ohio all my life. You guys need to do something other than the same old “unprecedented storm” excuses.

The warning was lifted at 2pm. All clear was given. Most people got trapped after that.

Sorry, but why would you leave at 1pm yesterday when at that point everyone in this region knew how bad it was and drivers were being warned to stay off the roads?
