They won't ban abortion. They don't want the headlines. And, Republicans raise a lot of money over the issue. They are just going to let each state do their own restrictions with the SCOTUS blessing their actions every step of the way.

exactly. The GOP can't do anything else. If they do this--their 'big issue' vanishes over night. they've been hammering at this since Reagan. And still abortion occurs....why bc politicians can't see what a woman does inside her own home to her own body....

They can, and probably will. What we can do is ensure the Democrats in 2022 have a big enough majority to pack the court if and when necessary. Until then, the next year will be difficult for the most vulnerable among us.
