    But, guilt is a BAD reason to do something and counter-productive in the long run, yet seems to come up often in academia, for me at least. Glad to start 2020 with my happiness winning against my guilt :), and I hope the same for y’all next time you run into academic guilt. (3/4)

    Very happy with this decision, as it is best for other professional goals, my family, and . Still, it took me days to make the final call, as I had trouble shaking the (needless) guilt of not presenting new work. (2/4)

    After taking a hard look at my calendar for the next few months, I decided to not submit a abstract. I’ll still be going (have awesome student/postdoc presentations – woo 🤘🤘), just didn’t want to commit to having something new ready to present by March. (1/4)

    LISTEN UP. Plagioclase wouldn't claim to be the prettiest, or strongest, or funniest mineral out there. But it is an unfailing stalwart of planetary crusts, and the Face of our Moon wouldn't be the same without it 💛🌝✨
