#Amazon confirms cutting 18,000 jobs
Amazon.com Inc's #layoffs will now stretch to more than 18,000 roles as part of a workforce reduction it previously disclosed, Chief Executive #AndyJassy said in a public staff note on Wednesday.

Why you people hire if you cant afford them
Where will they find new job and how they will pay there EMI or other expenses its really sad to know such high layoff

They are removing lower end jobs like HR and warehouse.
All these jobs are slated for automation anyway. Probably state of economy is a way for them to fire without raising eyebrows
