nothing sums up the transmasc experience as much as having an entire loud argument with a rape apologist at work only for one of my cis coworkers to immediately turn around and go “yeah what do men even know about getting raped anyway?”
not sure if she doesn’t see me as a man or if she’s just forgotten the ~eighty conversations we’ve had about benefits of trauma and (for me specifically) rape therapy but i guess i’ll just have to wonder forever and never trust her again! truly a microcosm of everyday trans hell
