It's a mental health crisis. It's not a gun problem. CA has some of the strictest gun laws. SFO does not allow conceal carry. So again, a BAD person broke the law. Stop blaming lawful gun owners for the actions of bad/mentally ill individuals.

If someone snaps...it's almost never suddenly...it *seems* that way but there are always signs, things there that people ignore because they don't want to come off as controlling, invasive, racist, etc. Behavior changes, social media posts, medicines, etc. There's something there

I said almost...not always. The ex-boyfriends or spouses usually have signs of abuse/problems in the relationships that people ignored/didn't want to. Road rage bar none is sudden BUT again, usually that person has underlying issues. Usually something underlying is there.
