You seem very out of touch with realities in Afghanistan. The Doha process is a bad-faith exit process disguised as peace talks. Please educate yourself before opining on matters you know little of. Thank you.
A bit rude, and when an instructor says "educate yourself" to a full professor, a bit funny, too. But what I say is that calling military solutions as genuine peace is fraudulent. The only high level dialogue between the Taliban and the govt needs to be supported.

I would hope as full professor you’ve learned the value of listening to people who are informed. Learning is a life long process which doesn’t end at the granting of a title.

Especially when it’s an Afghan woman talking about her own people and you aren’t Afghan. So it isn’t your blood spilling from terrorist attacks.

I also think it's funny when white dudes think their titles make them more knowledgeable about the lives of Afghans than the actual Afghans who live them. That is some serious WhiteGuySplaining. Afghan women have it tough as it is being taken seriously and then you piss on them.

Are you seriously trying to ‘pull rank’ here? If you think being a professor puts you beyond the realm of learning from instructors (or anyone)… that is truly sad for you. And as a humanitarian focused academic, such a stance is farcical.

Also what others said about your tone in dialogue with someone actually living this experience. Sure, the response was a little rude, but it only requires a minimal amount of restraint on your part to not condescend.
