for the "wishing trump would die is immoral crowd," consider this: have you ever heard of the philosophical trolley problem? a trolley has a set course. 5 innocent people are tied to its default course, but pulling a lever will shift it to a course where only 1 person is tied

this is already a moral dilemma in and of itself. do you insert yourself into the situation and actively kill the 1 person, or do you opt out and let "fate" take its course to kill the 5?

now imagine that the 1 person actively tied the 5 people to the track, and got themselves tied up too. and also imagine that there isn't an actual person that has control over this situation, but rather, it's random

do you root for the 5 people to survive, or the 1 who got them in that situation in the first place? to me, the answer is pretty fuckin clear. you either don't root for anyone and let fate take its course, or you root for the 5. there is no justification for the 1.
