Speedrun LB's have always been a case-by-case basis, community driven and community updated. To remove times of those who have committed such wrong doings is the 100% right thing to do. People just need to be careful that is for "valid reasons" and not "I don't like this person"

I 100% agree with all removals I've seen so far, so I'm not fighting any of that. Just always want to avoid slippery slope stuff. Bring Justice and good vibes to my LB, not politics or pettiness.

honestly, I'm having a hard time imagining how this is even a slippery slope. The people who have been removed have largely been outed by multiple people, and have been condemned by the vast majority of ppl in the communities they are part of. What would this even broaden to?

This moment is extremely important and extremely serious, and it feels to me like implying that it can lend itself to petty bans of people someone doesn't like cheapens the movement. That's not what's happening here, and I don't see a path from this moment to that outcome.

I 100% agree with all the removals, I think this movement is all a good thing. I apologize my words took away from it, I want it to succeed. Not the time or place, probably a discussion for another day.

I just think you said it yourself - communities are good at handling these things on a case-by-case basis. If someone is unjustly banned from a community, there'll be discussion in that community around the ban, and...

...most communities will have the sense not to scapegoat a very real movement about sexual assault/abuse to make their case. I can't think of an example where this has happened in other fields, and I can't think of why it would happen in speedrunning. anyway, luv u spike
