On this 4th of July we acknowledge the gap between our nation’s ideals and the racism that pervades our criminal legal system. While we create new polices, expand language access, and end the death penalty in San Francisco, we continue to fight for our ideals.

I left for good about 6 months ago, but went back to visit a month ago. Heroin and property crime on the rise are not unique to SF, but property crime has always been higher in coastal CA. I was there for this that SFPOA spent money against under previous DA.pic.twitter.com/mwz80Rlgdo

Ask anyone who has lived there long enough and they will tell you SFPOA pins their ineptitude and laziness on every successive DA. Every time we try to force them to do their job they fight it with great success (for them). They regularly make $400k/yr, they can do their job.
