A guiding principle of our work was to reject China exceptionalism(s). It is neither exceptionally good nor exceptionally bad: Our observations in contemporary China manifest global systems that are, in nature, beyond the boundaries of the nation-state.

It's bittersweet to bid farewell to . I loved every moment I was part of this project. I got to know some of my (now) favorite people and grew in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Thank you all for helping us make our idea a tangible reality.
