In the past I've tweeted about sex work as antiwork/nonwork and how I've approached the work in this new economy. Many people clowned me about being "antiwork" and claimed I was lazy. Then the pandemic hit and suddenly everyone is a struggling gig-working whore lmao.

I mean, and that's fine, let's all be hoes/sluts/whores! I just think it's funny. And I think we can engage erotic labor under capitalism with the phrase "sex work is work" AND we can also engage it honestly as "nonwork" or gig work.https://twitter.com/thotscholar/status/1349479977834737677 …

The thing is, who gets to determine who/what is "full time" and who is not? Specifying that folks who are poor or struggling need to be separated out from the "sex work is work" escorts directly leads to classism/racism/ableism.https://twitter.com/kinky_lotus/status/1349480999705600002 …
