Confederates were traitors who took up arms against the United States. Their names aren't even worthy of adorning our toilet paper.

Robert E. Lee's name shouldn't be anywhere in the public square. Not the 15 elementary schools currently named after him. Not the hundreds of streets. Strip his name everywhere. He was a white supremacist and incompetent coward. There is nothing worthy of honor in his legacy.

IT’S LIVE, BABY! My inaugural post and recipe for my new food page, I Didn't Hate That, is now up and ready to go. I would love it if you’d be able to take a look, and if you enjoy it, please feel free to comment and share! Stoked to hear what you think.

100% agree. 🔥 For ex: Uber's growth has never been a sign of economic strength or urban innovation; it has always been a sign of urban weakness, desperation, and low expectations. Decades of urban austerity & constrained political choices have trained us to expect little.

The latest @techwontsaveus with @roseveleth is great, but this clip is razor sharp. We have all been trained to have low expectations for what technology and its creators can do for us. This doesn’t just make our tech shit; it makes our future bleak.
