Dude. My channel was also demonetized, and I can’t figure out why. Would love to know if you get anywhere with this.

It was sometime in March, but with other things filling up my life this spring, I haven't had the time to dig into trying to get reinstated. I didn't realize this was happening to other people...

It's almost like
@YTCreators doesn't care about small creators. And almost like they have awful policies with absolutely no transparency or accountability. I mean, you're basically not even a person with fewer than 100k subscribers.@TeamYouTube1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

It's so weird. I truly have no idea why my status was revoked.

I mean, what kind of monsters would take money out of the pocket of public school teachers?

Seriously. And I was careful that the only content I was trying to monetize was in the public domain, so... What could the possible reason be???

That's the thing! If there's a copyright strike, fair enough! I don't want to steal someone else's intellectual property. But we have 0 strikes &no guidance for what we're supposed to change in order to get remonetised. Is it bc of timestamp bookmark comments? Faceless narration?

Again, I haven't had the time to investigate, but this was my initial frustration. How in God's name am I supposed to figure out why they changed my status???

The only people actually getting answers from
@YTCreators are ones who have 100k subscribers. Otherwise, we get the same BS: "We'll look into it!" or "Here's a link to our FAQ." Or NOTHING.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like
Their bot also said “keep us updated.” So we are. HI @YTCreators BOT. YOU HAVE COST TWO PUBLIC SCHOOLTEACHERS NEARLY $1K DURING THE HIGHEST-TRAFFIC MONTH OF THE YEAR.
