Apple is really going to need to step up their Apple TV+ game. Netflix and Disney+ are bringing some really great shows to the table, and though I have an Apple TV+ trial subscription, I have yet to watch anything on it. There’s much more interesting stuff elsewhere. 🤷‍♂️

Blogpost: "There's no evidence the Saudis hacked Bezos's iPhone" This post is for non-technical people, though it does link to the (very) technical research I've done.

Every so often Twitter feels a bit weird. Feels like it's not working right. After a while I realise what it is.. How dare you Twitter meddle with my settings? If I've told you once that I want to see latest tweets rather than what YOU think i should see that should be enough

If you’ve seen articles advising you to turn off Intelligent Tracking Prevention in Safari, don’t do it. That is terrible advice. Even if we had no fix for the issues recently disclosed by Google, cookies are a way worse tracking vector than a flaw in ITP could ever be.

I'm curious what people think of after the Lumen cryptocurrency stunt. If you don't use it (or quit using it), I'm curious to learn what other secure messaging service you use and trust. There are so many, yet none that I entirely like.

New - The FBI used a GrayKey to get into a locked iPhone 11 Pro Max. That's the latest model. So why is the FBI demanding Apple help unlock much older versions of the device? I've published court docs within from a case in Ohio...

Strong device encryption protects all Americans from cyber threats—new vulnerabilities, like the backdoor sought by the FBI, undermines everyone’s security. Weakening encryption won’t stop criminals and terrorists, as I wrote in last month. ()
