I’m proud to be an immigration advisor to Labour - and proud to have supported Keir Starmer when Shadow Immigration Minister. This is the right message with the right values at the right time.

Pro- Government spin on Nissan leak is it’s “doubling down” on Britain ahead of PM’s speech. Media just parrots. But read the actual scoop: no deal means “not sustainable” for Nissan to remain open for business in UK.

So good to hear saying rights of journalists must be protected in the Commons. Perhaps he will have a word with to find out why I was banned from the Greenwich speech when the Times sketchwriter was allowed in

To rebalance our economy, it’s right to ask those with the broadest shoulders – the top 5% of earners – to pay more tax. We cannot step back from our core principles or commitment to build a fairer economy and society.

... It’s denied that this is an actual contingency plan though in the official Nissan quote, which has the rather alarming quote that WTO tariffs would make Nissan’s “entire business” both in UK and Europe “not sustainable”...

  14. Keir Starmer is the party’s and people’s choice in virtually every demographic group by large margins. Remarkable.

  17. Sorry but you can’t complain about EU forever - especially after Brexit. Get a grip, PM. Show leadership or step aside and let show you how it’s done 💪

  21. It all depends on what the UK wants. Next to no divergence is easier to agree; more substantial is not. But which? PM seems to still be working out details. Not how you do negotiations...
