CREATORS: Many have had their channels stop growing lately in terms of subs. Essentially, NEW people are not finding your content & suggested has plummeted. You may still get views but from your core/sub audience. My observation/theory points towards a channel age pattern.

I don't have an old channel by any stretch of the imagination but I can definitely see that something happened in late July. Overnight I went from 30% browse 30% Search 25% Suggested to 45% search 15% browse 10% suggested Which sucks because I find searchers watch less.

The media has attacked YT publicly and pushed the narrative that YT algorithm is radicalizing ppl and blamed them for elections and mass violence world wide... In addition to the kids programming issues, it seems they made a shift. I also know they were in a shift during Vidcon

Interesting theory - but I think you’ll need some solid A|B testing to validate and even then, the number of variables is extreme. An old channel in a saturated niche with stale content isn’t necessarily comparable to a new channel in an trending niche.

That's why I'm putting it out in the open
