Washed up semipro of several games, like Quake Live, Overwatch, Quake Champions and Diabotical
In the last 25 years LG went from 300 dps to 120, rail from 125 dmg to 70, but rockets went from being extremely slow to really fast and still 100 dmg? Avg aim has improved with ALL weapons, now a 1500 elo guy shoots better rockets than LeXeR in 2001 so why was rl never nerfed?

yep but you got the chaingun and the rail as your new hitscans
And if you look at weapon balance of these 3 after q2, LG reappeared as with 160 dps, rail was 120(?) or so in q3, and rocket was faster than in Q2.... fast forward to end of q3 and start of QL, rocket is even FASTER, LG is 120 dps and rail is 80...? \:D/

didn't QL make rockets faster but decrease radius and damage? yeah there's been lots of changes overall but it doesn't really look like rockets dominate the field or anything. that said in retrospect lg 7 -> 6 feels like a somewhat unnecessary change too
