I hate using headsets, the most I can bear with are earphones and even that I hate. I use speakers 90% of the time I play, wonder how close I need to have them to my ears that I won't need to use headsets and without causing damage, hm.

what do you hate so much about headsets? I don't like it much either but a good fitting headset is quite nice

Maybe if you get some really small speakers stick a bit of padding to them and then connect them with a short flexi material so they hold against your ears - that might work what do you think?

I don't want to hold them against my ears hahaha, I should just 2 huge studio monitors and put one at each side of me

Why not get open back headsets? They don't isolate external sound but the right ones will be very comfy.
