Going to hard disagree on rapha's shape. I think you are too heavily discounting how clutch he is. Players were very loose this tourney because if you lost one match... well you have 18 more.

rapha's game is not amplified by big moments, it just doesn't suffer when he knows he can only lose one map. We all know that has historically been a huge disadvantage for many of the other top players vs rapha in single elim or double elim situations going forward.

You have to consider that Rapha was only .5 points off (and Raisy only .75 off) of being tied with K1llsen for making it to the finals. This was a completely new tournament format for QC on a new (old) mode that used score differential for points.pic.twitter.com/554yhQdhDx

Considering how Champ/Map picks can heavily influence how big of a score difference is possible in any given match, I think these aren't bad results for anyone in the top placings. But yea,
@k1llsen really killed it, was a beautiful performance from him.

Now, I'm not some top tier dude, I don't even play Quake anymore. But the only point I don't agree there is Raisy. If anything, in my opinion, he once again showed he crumbles under pressure. He could have had that #3 without those 2-3 extremely questionable plays.

Have to say there was some good stuff I wasn't expecting from the NA side, psygib had a good showing, so did nosfa (even though he's not really NA), cha1n was also putting up a fight. But yah it's mostly cannon fodder
