Hi! I'm Seneca, a disabled cosplayer who has been in the game for a *long* time! It's mostly a hobby for me, so my pace and output are leisurely, and I tend to do side characters, but I love details, craftsmanship, and sharing cosplay knowledge.

  7. Social science has been clear on this for a long time: people raced as Black and gendered as male are perceived as older (so killed Mike Brown is a “man,” while alleged killer Payton Gendron is a “teenager”).

The thing I always come back to is that the hope DS9 gave people living in 2024 was a riot, and they told us that without that uprising here in the U.S., there was no hope for the future. They told us the Trek world we knew & loved couldn't exist without a rebellion in our time.

Helpful tip: To "check your work", do NOT do the same steps in the same order. Do something different. You did x+y and got z? Don't do x+y again to check it; do z-y and verify that you get x. This will catch SO MANY more errors.

  13. What happened in Buffalo was tragic. But we MUST stop saying that it’s indicative of the rise of white supremacy. It’s not Trumps fault or Fox News fault or even Tucker Carlson’s fault. The Great Replacement theory is not new. It’s who America always was A thread

People are like “why unionize a bad job, just get a better job” I am getting a better job. When you organize and win, you don’t have to go somewhere else to do it.

Jean is happy to brainstorm, but she WILL give honest feedback. She is not here to be anyone’s yes-cat

A tortoiseshell cat is laying on her side with her front paws outstretched. Next to her is a small wad of yellow paper, possibly a post-it note.
