Hi Rosie! SOSAmerica2019 is holding a pro-Impeachment rally outside Nadler’s office in NYC this Thursday (see below). Could you help us get the word out? Could make all the difference! Thank you so much! -Scott https://twitter.com/messages/media/1123019627804495883 …https://twitter.com/AndreaChalupa/status/1122981454135418886?s=20 …

Facebook has been over for years...
-
For us, sure. But for boomers it's still very much alive. And their votes count exactly as much as ours.
-
I'm a boomer and I dumped Facebook! You can too!
-
Already done

Facebook cannot be fixed.
-
Yes it can. IF Congress does right by the American people & the world, & passes strong legislation to
#RegulateFacebook. We need:
Non-partisan, unbiased, science-based fact-checking
Ironclad data privacy protections with heavy penalties incl JAIL time (see @RonWyden's bill). -
No, no, no. That's not what I'm referring to. It's crappy software that doesn't do what users want it to do, and does all kinds of things users don't want it to do. It's privacy features, or lack thereof, is just one issue.
-
Yes I recognize some of the software issues (which can be really frustrating, and FB's feedback options are really limited -- not that they listen to us anyway.) What things about the software do you notice that are the worst?

I'll ask again, why does anyone still have Facebook
#DeleteFacebook -
It was the only place a cousin was able to find me and announce my father died. Otherwise I would never been able to find out.
-
Oh how did we all survive pre FB smdh
-
I joined FB in 2010, reconnected with many old friends (I moved around a lot for years and lost touch), made new friends all over the world, and the groups & adminning pages have been invaluable for animal advocacy. Collectively we've accomplished a lot, incl ivory & circus bans.
-
Yet if fb never existed you would've found a diff way to accomplish same, fb makes people lazy
-
No I don't think we would have. There's a ton of good, factual FB groups for animal advocacy; pages I've co-adminned have 10,000-20,000+ followers; we've organized massive marches on 6 continents for
+
and protests outside Chinese embassies—China has since banned ivory trade. -
There's no other social media platform that provides the kind of forums w global members that FB does, incl secret groups for organizing marches, demos, rallies, etc. and working together as a team. Twitter, Instagram, etc. wouldn't cut it. But I do see the harm FB has caused.
-
Lol nothing secret about fb, believe that if you want
