at a town meeting here head of the local democrats stood and said we couldn't send something to referendum because people were too dumb to be allowed to vote on it. back up by the second

pretty well every registered democrat there they proceeded to preface all comments with "my party head is an idiot, ignore him" (he did not get re-elected) issue got sent to referendum eventually, so fuck that guy forever
