Hey, bot momdad here. Let's talk for a bit, then I'll do some updating and a tweet-burst.

To those of you who are transgender, agender, bigender, genderqueer, non-binary and/or any other non-cis identity: you matter.
-
To all women, everywhere, that are about to deal with even more misogyny than you already are: you matter.
-
To everyone w/ a uterus, no matter what your gender is, that is having your basic rights to autonomy over your body questioned: you matter.
-
To the Native Americans and Indigenous people worldwide: you matter. Standing Rock matters.
-
To the young people who are inheriting a world that is increasingly ravaged by climate change and the threat of nuclear war: you matter.
-
To physically disabled folks, folks dealing with mental health issues, and those of you at the intersection: you matter.
-
To everyone who has felt fear of your own government, military and/or police: you matter, and you deserve better.
-
This is off the top of my head. I might be missing people. But so many people are scared right now.
-
I don't have anything that can quell that fear, but I feel like I'd be amiss if I didn't take to the platforms I have.
-
Just to say that hey, your life has inherent value. Because there are so many people who want to tear that down right now.
-
Thanks to all the groups who have been organizing to put that message out there already, especially Black Lives Matter.
-
Thanks to all the trans folks who have been tweeting and writing and screaming about their-- our-- validity. You've done so much for me.
-
Take care of yourselves and each other as best you can. We're in for a hard four years here, and the consequences of that are far-reaching.
-
I made two bots that remind you to breathe:
@breathebot10 and@breathebot30, at 10/30 minute intervals, because I needed that. -
For these axes of marginalization and their intersections, it is an act of resistance just to exist. If that's all you can give, that's OK.
-
Reach out to your friends and family who are on marginalized axes. Do what you can for them.
-
Fight in whatever ways you can, and please remember that taking care of yourself and others is part of that.
-
Love to all of you from the bot momdad. You're in my thoughts. You're not alone.
-
tw rape/ Oh, one more, because I didn't mention it earlier. Rape and sexual assault victims: you matter. Your experiences are valid.
-
These are all intersectional, but this one particularly so. We've proven once again how much of a rape culture we live in.
-
I see y'all. I'm with you. I'm one of you. Take care of yourselves as best you can. All of us deserve better. <3
