So I’m watching the Libertarian Party considering Howard Schultz as a presidential candidate and one thing is clear: the definition of libertarian means nothing anymore.

I'm not trying to imply I'm pro Schultz running as a libertarian. I'm not. But Bill Weld openly promoted people voting for Hillary Clinton, while he was the Libertarian Party veep nominee. As bad as Schultz may be, I doubt he would do something similar.
