Are rights naturally endowed or discovered as a result of social evolution?

Naturally endowed by what? That seems a lot like land ownership. The only true thing that means you have land is your ability to defend it. I would imagine the same is true for rights.
Idk. I guess “god” or something. Otherwise there would have to be a rights section of the brain, which there isn’t.

I mean I do think it is a natural progression of social evolution, Insofar as people tend to prefer them to not having them, anyway. But yeah I don't see how it's an immediate truism of nature. We've been endowed with that preference, I suppose.
