Feel bad for the kid and his family. No one should be getting death threats, especially for something that may not be true in the first place

The blowback should be hitting the adults hardest. Any competent teacher would have shut those kids down instantly when they started jumping around. That's not how properly socialized youth respond to an elder approaching them.
