“Respect for the dead” is a kind of silly concept we force on people. The dead don’t care. If you would’ve said it last month, you can say it now.

But I agree that it’s gross to “celebrate” over it.

I don’t think they see what I say. Additionally, if your deceased person was famous AND especially disgusting, maybe just stay off social media for a few days. You have complete control over what you see.

We can't at least just wait a couple days before dumping on the guy? I don't get the point in dancing on someone's grave the day he died.

I mean, if we're all adults, we should be able to behave like it. Give it a few days, then have a calm and rational discussion about the person's sins. I can't for the life of me see why that's too much to ask
