I can't believe how people flipped out so bad for a simply saying have a little couth about things.

They kept acting like I supported him or that I was calling him a hero or something. All I ever said was we can have a little class and give it a few days before diving into his crimes.

“Respect for the dead” is a kind of silly concept we force on people. The dead don’t care. If you would’ve said it last month, you can say it now.

But I agree that it’s gross to “celebrate” over it.

I don’t think they see what I say. Additionally, if your deceased person was famous AND especially disgusting, maybe just stay off social media for a few days. You have complete control over what you see.

We can't at least just wait a couple days before dumping on the guy? I don't get the point in dancing on someone's grave the day he died.
