Good topic. My opinion: individuals won’t own cars, car sharing services or software companies will. Also fixes our parking and traffic jam issues.https://twitter.com/thijsniks/status/947107828317159424 …

Maybe, capital-wise. But to whom will leasing companies rent their cars? The individual? Not efficient enough — that’s similar to our current system. We're probably buying "transit", instead of "car time" in the future (Uber vs traditional car ownership).
Did you read the whole thread though? :)https://twitter.com/thijsniks/status/947109744082391040 …
Renting to car sharing companies? Possible for a certain time, but it makes them the middle man, which puts them in a replaceable position — car sharing companies can purchase their own fleet once they gained enough capital.
But eventually car sharing companies will become the middle man between the software/hardware company and the individual. They can possibly be eaten by the software company, once they manage to build the platform.
Anyway, very interesting topic. Excited for your opinion on car ownership and how it will (possibly) evolve.
