I asked him who the Squad was and he just named AOC and three of the seven dwarves.

He just blamed Chesa for crime in Buffalo. Then said at this rate, they’d be getting released from the Buffalo jail and breaking into his house next. Attaching some proxies for context. They live near the Lancaster high school. Honestly, I’m impressed he knows who Chesa is.pic.twitter.com/RDFkovl7pU

The man clearly has been worried about the lawlessness of your area! I’m just a little baffled about Chesa’s supposed influence in… Buffalo??

Don’t mean to pry, but has he always been like this? I still have a hard time understanding how the average person can fall so far down the rabbit hole

No, totally OK to ask. It’s Fox News. They watch is nightly. He was wrongly fired by GE for being old. My mom was part of the Buffalo Teacher’s Union that went on strike in the 70s and won concessions for every teacher in NYS.

The professional class that gets paid to protect tax cuts and white majority rule Turku earns their money. My parents are proof that those communication campaigns work.

Oh man, that must be painful to experience! Any idea what made them go all in on Fox as opposed to other news stations? That’s just what everyone around them watches, or it’s just more entertaining?

It’s an echo chamber in rust belt cities. Your kids move away. You hang out more with your neighbors. You fall into a pit of negativity and fall into Fox News talking points. It’s a bunch of old folks reminiscing about how things used to be better in the “good old days.”

I can see how that’s appealing and how Fox is the only channel really catering to that negative sentiment. Everyone else is metropolitan, upbeat, and forward looking all the time
