Ooooh, that’s fascinating. I guess Safari will ask whether you want to subscribe when you load a calendar feed? Not sure what triggers the loading though. Ad exchange hijack?
Yah I have seen these trigger from ad banners. Safari does ask, but you can finesse the name of the calendar to make it more likely that folks add it.
I can imagine many people just tap OK to get rid of this dialog. Wonder why the button doesn’t say “Subscribe.” Seems a HIG violationpic.twitter.com/bWRIlp267K
Yeah it must be. Since my parents are older they basically default to pressing OK on every dialog they see, which is a problem for me
