I’m trying to figure out how to send $6000 from my Chase bank account to my wife’s Chase account for our income tax payment and the answer is to either:
- Write a free paper check
- Send $2000 for 3 days through Zelle
- Pay $25 for a wire transfer

Why did you with Chase? Genuinely curious as I hope to make the move over to the US sometime soon :)

As a non-citizen and without a credit score, most fintech services won’t let you sign up. And you’ll also need archaic services, like cashier’s checks to rent an apartment, which fintechs don’t support. Of the traditional banks, the Chase app has the best (but still poor) UX.

I would absolutely love to do this, but I'd also be a bit afraid to take too much of your time. I'll think a bit on what is most important to ask and get back to you in time. Thank you :)
