Growth may be higher but the US still leads amongst the same group in absolute income, that chart uses Piketty data which included non stable cohorts (much more likely to graduate out of that class in the US, and spikier returns).

And Gini coefficients of course are higher in the US because we have richer rich people bc we create more value.
