I am generally skeptical of drawing conclusions on the future of our cities post-COVID. This article however, sums up the options quite nicely. Huge opportunities for smaller, highly urban satellite cities. Less focus on the New Yorks and Londons of this world.https://twitter.com/elle_hunt/status/1320629412396560385 …
Bigger cities have better networks and are more efficient though, so I don’t see a reason why that would change

Don't you think there's an optimum? Given people's preferences, access to nature etc. Is bigger better? There's been theories that 200k is the optimum size for a city. The perfect cycling city (coincidentally)

In pretty sure the optimum is much higher than that. 200k doesn’t sustain a full economic cluster, an opera, etc
