Here's the results so far from the poll. Over 2800 people so far responded and a surprising variety of responses. Thanks to the folks at @coda_hq for helping me pull together this live updating doc to aggregate/summarize responses

This is great Sriram! I was most surprised by this one, where 25% are unsure or would not be fine working with someone who supposed a presidential candidate they opposed. Feels quite intolerant. And if this is true, probably best that people leave politics at home.pic.twitter.com/SUgUhVZbdd

If the presidential candidate they support wants to take away your health insurance or visa, isn’t it reasonable to question your coworker?

I’ve found that most things are not black and white. For example, I don’t agree with all of the policy stances of the Democratic Party, but I do plan to vote for Biden.

One doesn’t have to support all the opinions of a candidate, but the deep undemocratic policies and believes of the Republican Party (voter disenfranchisement, healthcare, large donors, etc) are globally unique and impossible to ignore

Not wanting to work with someone who likes to take away your ability to vote or stay alive seems… reasonable
