In 2009, Google had ~40% market share in Chinese search before being effectively banned in 2010. Competition in international markets for American internet companies has not been fair or equitable for quite some time.

I don't think it's fair to call China alone, "International Markets". Literally everywhere else Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Twitter, etc have leading positions.

That seems an odd example. The US is holding up a new OECD tax agreement which would adjust taxation both ways. That has no impact on whether American companies can compete in Europe.
