Things I will never get used when in the US: - Open a tab in a bar - Use the magnetic stripe instead of the chip - Tip charge after using the card - Waiter taking your card off your visionhttps://twitter.com/thijsniks/status/1282381780364877826 …

Not everyone is OK with it. It’s a garbage system. To add to the list: - We don’t swipe as much anymore (except gas stations) - Now we use the chip which takes 2-3 times as long
- We’re seeing more touchless (but half the time the machines just don’t work)1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Insteresting, personally I use the Apple Watch for 99% payments and so far the touchless system is the most reliable and fastest one. In addition no need for enter pin even if the charge is high

Chip taking longer makes no sense to me. It’s fine in other countries.

It takes consistently longer than swiping ever did, and most of the machines make an obnoxious noise telling you to remove it. Tapping is great (when it actually works) but Apple Pay has the best experience IMO.

Both the time and noise are problems unique to America. No other country has these ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just don’t understand everyone is ok with this broken system.
