We have lived in the US for 18 months now and had to deal with more fraudulent charges on our cards and bank accounts (about $2000
) than in the previous 30 years of living in Europe (a nice round $0).
I just don’t understand everyone is ok with this broken system.

I feel like I get my card skimmed every time I go back to the US. Usually at gas stations. I just assumed it was normal until I moved to Europe.

I liked this tweet a few days ago and then the same exact thing happened to me today. When I tried to get more information on how to prevent this, all Amazon could give me is "We're not sure but this needs to stop" /shrug
