We have lived in the US for 18 months now and had to deal with more fraudulent charges on our cards and bank accounts (about $2000
) than in the previous 30 years of living in Europe (a nice round $0).
I just don’t understand everyone is ok with this broken system.

The irony is as an airline pilot all of my fraudulent charges come from my trips to the EU and UK despite all my travels to China where you think it would be the worst.

Ha! Interesting. European scammers must be so happy to encounter a weak American signature card that they immediately abuse it. Not sure what’s keeping the Chinese back though
