all that aside though, why target china specifically, other than that it's the contemporary foreign policy of the US? the US and her allies in israel have been perpetrating crimes against muslims too but it's not aligned to US foreign policy to criticize that (5/n)

Whataboutism isn’t really helpful though. There is plenty wrong about the West (Guantanamo, indiscriminate drone strikes, torture), but that is openly discussed and criticized. More so than the Uighur situation
